Clubs in Larissa

For most people, moving to a new city can be a scary experience because they don't know anyone and meeting people can sometimes be scary.
That is why I am including a section about clubs. I don't mean bars and night clubs. that would not be a recommended place to meet people. I am talking about organizations that you can join to meet people with simular interests as yourself.

Photography Club

Larissa photography club Professional photographers as well as hobbyists meet to discuss photography methods and techniques. They also invite guest speakers and artists to talk about the use of color and shadows in photography. At one seminar I attended, (the only seminar I attended) the speech was about using the computer to enhance photos. This is a group of people that take photography as a very serious art form, however the club is open even for people that just want to improve the family snapshots. Hunting Club

Larissa hunting club When I was a kid I used to go to the park and try to catch pigeons. If I continued down that path, I would now be a member of the hunting club. But this is not just a simple club that goes hunting. They are actively involved in breeding programs that keep the animal population high. They also finance the anti-poaching program. A member told me that they try to do their best to stop poaching because a poacher is in effect stealing from honest hunters like themselves. Bicycle Riding Club

Larissa bike riding club There is a club in Larissa that is for bike riders. The members go on bike rides, have picnics and visit interesting places. The club includes branches in both street bikes and mountain bikes. Also, for a small fee you can get a membership to the competition club, which allows you to compete in races on the local and national level. For more information, contact
"Dalabikas bikes" on #129 and 94 Eiron Politechnio avenue,
or phone +30 2410 552 815.
The reason why it has two addresses is because the shop is divided into two sections, located across the street from each other.
